Understand the Galore De Teddies returns and refunds policy for custom and ready-made crochet teddy bears.
Your satisfaction is our priority. Please read our returns policy carefully so you know exactly where you stand.
Custom-Designed Teddies
Because every custom teddy is handcrafted specifically to your approved design, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on custom orders simply due to a change of mind.
However, we will always make it right if:
- Your teddy has a defect in craftsmanship (e.g. loose seams, unravelling yarn, structural issues).
- The finished item does not match your approved design in a significant way.
In these cases, we will offer a free remake or a full refund, at your choice.
Ready-Made Teddies
For ready-made items purchased from our shop, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- Unused and in its original condition.
- Returned in its original packaging.
- Accompanied by proof of purchase.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover return shipping.
How to Start a Return or Complaint
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@galoredeteddies.co.za or via our Contact Us page.
- Include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographs of the item showing the problem.
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days with next steps.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving the returned item or approving the claim. PayFast processing times may vary.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-designed teddies (unless faulty or incorrect as described above).
- Items that have been used, washed, or altered.
- Gift cards or store credit.
